The deep south :
From Tulear to Fort Dauphin via Anakao and the road path of the capricorn.
Introduction
From Tulear, take a boat to the vezo fishermen village of Anakao, then head south on the great coastal Capricorn track. You will drive by the shore down to meet the Antandroy people. The tour ends at fort Dauphin the Green by the sea.

DAY 1 : ANTANANARIVO-TULEAR
Welcoming, and transfer to you hotel. Discover Tulear, walking or having a rickshaw ride, visit of Tulear market.
DAY 2 : TULEAR – ANAKAO
Boat transfer to the village of Anakao with its hundreds of colorfull fishermen's boat on the beach.
DAY 3 : ANAKAO
Day off. Enjoy the lagoon ad have a ride in a traditional outrigger canoe, visit and picnic on Nosy Ve island.
DAY 4 : ANAKAO – ITAMPOLO
The south and its coast track. Salt lake, pink flamingoes, bush forest all along the road, and finally arrive at Itampolo village, a true magical site with paradise beaches.
DAY 5 : ITAMPOLO
A perfect stop over for enjoying stupendous beach by lovely bungalows.
At sunset, enjoy a walk in the dry bush forest.
DAY 6 : ITAMPOLO – LAVANONO/FAUX CAP
This will be the longest and nicest track stage of the tour. You will cross rivers, huge sand sandbanks surrounded by cactus forest, you will meet Antandroy famillies and feel the magic of the south.
DAY 7 : FAUX CAP - FORT DAUPHIN
End of the track bordered by impressive funerals with zebu horns. Then arriving at Fort Dauphin, the Green ocean city.
DAY 8 : FORT DAUPHIN- ANTANANARIVO
Airport tansfer, flight to Tananarivo.
Tour Extension
1° Additional day at Fort Dauphin, climbing the Saint Louis mountain and visit of Nahampoana domain.
2° Boat transfer to the magnificent bay of Lokaro via the village of Evatraha.
