DAY 1 : ANTANANARIVO / TAMATAVE – SAINTE MARIE
Flight to Sainte Marie island, transfer to your hotel.

DAY 2 : SAINTE-MARIE - Whale photo safari
From june to september, boat ride meeting the humpback whales on Sainte Marie canal.

DAY 6 : ANTANANARIVO - ANTSIRABE
Discover the high lands, its rice fields, the typical red laterite (suncooked clay) houses.
At Antsirabe, visit of the city : precious stone markets, rickshaw ride.

DAY 7 : ANTSIRABE - FIANARANTSOA
Going down on a lovely bush track, you will visit the Andraikiba and Tritiva lakes.  Then the road gets more hilly, through nice forests on the way down to Fianarantsoa.
                                               
DAY 8 : FIANARANTSOA – RANOHIRA
Stop at Ambalavao, heart of madagascar wineyards and of the famous Antemoro paper.
Heading to the deep south on a majestic road bordered by rock cliffs, some of which being sacred.

DAY 9 : MASSIF of ISALO
Walk in the Monkeys' canyon and bathing in natural pools. Going from one site to the other can be done by car or after a 6 hours nice walk.

DAY 10: RANOHIRA-TULEAR
Going through real pioneers' town and villages of precious stone collectors, ruby, emeralds... Having a walk in Tulear city, accommodation by the sea at Ifaty, 25 Km from Tulear.
                          
DAY 11: TULEAR- Ifaty
Lazy day, resting on endless whitesand beaches, enjoying the lagoon and reef, boat rides, scuba diving, picnic on the beach...

DAY 12 : TULEAR-ANTANANARIVO
Transfer to Tulear airport, flight to Tananarive.
                                   
End of stay.   


Tour Extension     
1° One additional day at Ifaty
2° Boat transfer to Anakao village and Nosy Be and back to Ifaty by boat.
3° Going to Fort Dauphin on dust track and ATV vehicle or back to  Antananarivo by road.
4° Quadbike circuit.
