4WD Discovery Tour : the high lands and the east coast

  From Tananarive to Manakara :

DAY 1 : ANTANANARIVO - ANTSIRABE 
Visiting central High Lands, sceneries of rice fields, typical red clay houses, meet Antsirabe, its handkraft market, precious stones market, enjoying a rickshaw ride.

DAY 2 : ANTSIRABE - FIANARANTSOA
A very nice bush track will take you to Andraikiba and Tritriva lakes, and a very nice hilly road will take you through the woods down to Fianarantsoa.

DAY 3 : FIANARANTSOA - MANAKARA        
Leaving for a railway trip, you go across beautiful mountain villages and finally reach Manakara on the east shore.   
                   
DAY 4 : MANAKARA
Day on a river boat, going from village to village down the Pangalanes canal, just by the ocean. Picnic and swimming.
                          
DAY 5 : MANAKARA - RANOMAFANA
Heading to the primary forest of Ranomafana National parc. Visiting the reserve, meeting different kinds of lemurs.

DAY 6 : RANOMAFANA - AMBOSITRA
Visiting Ambositra, a very busy litlle town, enter the shops of the famous wood carvers "zafimaniry".

DAY 7 : AMBOSITRA – ANTANANARIVO
Heading to Antananarivo and airport transfer.
